  •  I've seen his progressive stances (3.33 / 3)

I haven't seen Joe Hoeffel back away from calling Casey a progressive.

If every poster on this thread gave Chuck $5, it would be an above-average fundraising day.

    •  go ahead and list them (4.00 / 5)

Chuck listed a bunch of issues where Bob is not a progressive:
      • stem cell research
      • death penalty
      • U.S. policy in Iraq
      • the assault weapons ban
      • separation of church and state
      • living wage legislation
      • universal health care
      • GLBT rights
      • preserving an independent judiciary (Terry Schiavo case)
      • drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

I'm familiar with his stance on workers' rights. On which other issues IS he Casey progressive?

    •  The point is... (4.00 / 2)

Casey is NOT a progressive.  He is FOR the Federal Defense of Marriage Act (Philly Daily News interview), was for invading Iraq, is a favorite son of the NRA, and is more for the death penalty than even santorum is.  Watch the Worldview piece for his stand on stem cell research.
